Welcome to the Cheap Chickadee

The Cheap Chickadee is the cute yellow house located next door to the Senior Center. We are bursting with quirky treasures, useful items, fashionable clothes and unusual antiques!

We sell only donated items and give all proceeds to the Southeast Seattle Senior Center. So when you buy one of our well-priced treasures, you are contributing to programs for seniors, such as weaving, line dancing, and computer training.

Bargain Bag Days
The first Tuesday and Thursday of each month are Bag Days -- when $5.00 will buy up to 10 items priced $3 or less. On the first Wednesday of each month, members of the Senior Center receive 40% off. Every day, the affordable prices and great selection are well worth a visit!
